ExpecTees was founded in the summer of 2005 by Rachel Capra and Carrie Alleman of Denver, CO. Both have been pregnant and know that at times it’s hard to keep your sense of humor during pregnancy. Rachel and Carrie each found maternity clothing to be functional, but not necessarily fun. ExpecTees is the result of a brainstorming session between Rachel, Carrie and their husbands of different ways to express the joys and occasional aches of pregnancy in humorous ways.
